In 1996, I discovered a few seeds in a Jack Herrera bud that I bought in the Netherlands, at the Sensi Smile coffee shop in Amsterdam. I didn't expect much, but when I grew them, one of those Jack Herrera bud seeds produced a unique female I call "Princess." She had devastating psychoactive resin, was short, compact, and exuded a heavenly aroma of tropical fruit and rotten meat.
The scent Cinderella99 exuded was incredibly popular in the late '90s. It wasn't your typical skunk scent. Cindi was a Skunk with a sweet and fruity scent that lingered in the mouth for a long time. Someone walking through a room filled with C99 cannabis seeds might not recognize the scent as cannabis flower, but they might mistake it for tropical flowers. When you rub the resin, you can definitely smell it.

The hay is also more "psychedelic" than "trippy," compared to popular cannabis strains like Skunk #1. I've always advised friends to smoke a little less, wait 10 minutes, and then consider whether they really need more... So Princess's father is a completely unidentified mystery plant—its pollen somehow found its way into Sensi's room. Princess had her combine two sisters from the same bud. I named them Genius & Café Girl. There were also three males from these seeds, which unfortunately I didn't keep. Genius became the mother of the Brothers Grimm Apollo line, Café Girl gave us Rosetta Stone, and Princess, of course, created Cinderella99.
Why Cindi rose from the ashes.
I wanted to create a strain that would allow me to share Princess with others, but I also wanted this incredible "Holy Grail" of indoor clones to be available to the world in the form of cannabis seeds. I decided to use a technique called "cubing" to open my C99 seeds.

C99 marijuana seeds need 56-65 days 12/12. The plant's pistils should be pre-ripe, and the resin heads should be cloudy and milky at harvest.
The plant will grow 30-45 centimeters tall and will reach approximately 90-120 centimeters tall when fully flowered.
The buds of a potent Sativa. What will they be like?
Expect highly resinous, tight buds, with tropical, fruity terpenes. A properly cured bud is sticky and pliable between the fingers. On the nose, you'll detect the scent of Hawaiian Punch, but with a distinctive body odor. When you light it up, that fruity flavor will hit your taste buds first, followed by a funky aftertaste.
C99 is a fast-flowering plant that requires plenty of light and nutrients, and also likes extra calcium. We grow C99 as shrubs with multiple offshoots, using stakes for support.
These cannabis seeds perform very well from a plant around 170 cm tall, even in a SOG or SCROG system. The yield is around 130-160 grams, with primo buds yielding above-average yields.
